Before using FebriDx External Controls, it is important to follow the recommended guidelines to ensure accurate and reliable results. Always refer to the FebriDx Package Insert for complete instructions and additional information. Store the external controls at room temperature between 15°C and 25°C and never use them after the expiration date listed on the packaging. Do not dilute the control solution, as this may affect test performance. When using the pipette, make sure the solution reaches the 5 μl indicator line—overfilling or underfilling can lead to incorrect results. The number of uses per vial may vary depending on technique. The control solutions normally appear yellowish-orange in color, which is expected and does not indicate a problem with the product.
