Red Wine by Cherry Picker from Central Coast, California. A balanced wine, with a moderate use of oak, moderate alcohol, and loaded with juicy, ripe red cherry fruit, a round velvety mouthfeel and finishes with lush texture. The 2012 Cherry Picker comes from the amazing Camp 4 Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley and offers all ofthe attributes of a great vintage in combination with a wonderful vineyard source. The idea was to create a great tasting wine that I could take out for parties, a red wine that could be opened and enjoyed with pizza, hamburgers, a steak, or simply to knock out a few bottles with friends playing cards without having to analyze or think about what we were drinking.
