Red Wine by Seven Hills Winery from Walla Walla Valley, Washington. 2013 was a warm vintage, marked by severe heat during veraison stunting berry growth and resulting in very small berries which produced a firm tannin structure to frame rich fruit density. This old vine Cabernet has a dark garnet gem color and a broad nose of marrionberry, cherry, spice, desert herb, and graham. The palate is plush and mouthfilling, yet framed with firm, dusty, fine-grained tannins and lifting acidity. It has flavors of black cherry, green plum, toffee, herbs, cedar bark, spice, and a distinct saline minerality. This wine will improve significantly with cellaring over the first five years and will hold nicely and continue to develop for ten or more years from vintage.p>Blend: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
