Cohn Winery is located near Glen Ellen in Sonoma Valley between the Mayacamas Mountains and Sonoma Mountain. B.R. Cohn Olive Hill Estate Vineyards has a microclimate suited for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. Soil warmed by underground hot springs help to prevent frost in late winter and early spring. In Summer and Fall, warm days tempered by afternoon coastal breezes and cool nights provide slow even ripening. Sparse gravelly volcanic soil and good cultural practices ensure low vigor, low yield, and small concentrated berries.
