Red Wine by Siduri from Russian River, California. The 2013 Siduri Keefer Ranch Pinot Noir is a rare combination of fruit and acidity. The Keefer Ranch, located in the Green Valley area of the Russian River Valley, always seems to produce wines with abundant fruit. In fact, a large part of the outstanding reputation of this vineyard is based on this forward fruit character. In our mind, that is all the more reason to work to weave additional complexity into the wine. Through the use of whole clusters on certain lots to a particular strict barrel selection we have worked to combine this forward fruit character with a backbone of earth and forest elements. While this wine drinks well early, our Keefer Ranch Pinots have a habit of aging quite well and we believe that will be the case with this wine as well.

White Wine by Marimar Estate from Russian River, California. The nose is intense and complex, reminiscent of stone fruit and papaya. On the palate it is savory and round, with notes of lemon meringue and a touch of vanilla from the elegant oak. The finish lingers on and the wine's great balance promises long aging potential, although it is delightful to drink right now.

Red Wine by Celani Vineyards from Napa Valley, California. The 2012 Tenacious is made of 70% Estate grown Merlot and 30%Cabernet Franc from the Stagecoach Vineyard, which is barrel-aged for 22 months in 70% new French oak barrels. The result is a wine with enormous impact. Earthy black raspberries, black currants, crushed violets, tobacco leaf, dusty plums give way to nuances of tea, dried orange peel, black cherry, and mocha. The entry is simultaneously seamless and powerful, with massive flavors of ripe black cherries. Hallmarks such as immense fruit concentration, amazing balance, present but supple tannins could very well be indications that this is the finest Tenacious produced to date. The 2012 Tenacious will drink effortlessly over the next 15 years.

Red Wine by Siduri from Russian River, California. The Bucher Vineyard Pinot Noir is classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir with raspberries, chocolate, and cola flavors, but also with a slight earthy complexity from the whole clusters. The wine is concentrated and yet surprisingly light on its feet. It should make compelling drinking over the next 3-5 years.

Red Wine by Lachini Vineyards from Willamette Valley, Oregon. Complex from the first sniff, expansive ripe cherries and blackberries meld seamlessly with aromas of chocolate, cola and exotic spices. There is an underlying complexity to the nose revealing wild herbs & dried flowers, giving way to a beautiful bouquet of forest, woodsmoke and black tea. On the palate, layers of sweet Bing cherries and plums dance across the tongue, while the seamlessly integratedacidity balances impeccably with the expansive, bold texture. Finishes long, with fine and noble, silky tannins. Full-bodied anddeliciously seductive now; but one would be wise to bet on its future when the roundness gives way to increased nuances. We suggest decanting for 30 minutes or cellaring for increased nuances. Drink 2-15 years. Blend: 100% Pinot Noir

Red Wine by Tensley from Central Coast, California. This is the very first vintage to be harvested from the Tensley estate vineyard. This two-acre parcel is planted directly behind our house and carefully tended to by our grower and by the family. The son, Oliver, actually planted the very first vine in 2011 and even harvested the first cluster three years later. The vineyard has great sun exposure, sandy soil and a gentle slope that provides great drainage for the vines. This year's Tensley Vineyard Syrah is dark and intense with highlights of red plums and cherries nicely balanced by a subtle earthiness and firm, grainy tannins. We are very proud of the quality of this vintage and can't wait to see how the vines and the wine develop in the future. Drink this wine now or age it 7 to 10 years.

Red Wine by Scheid Vineyards from Central Coast, California. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is intense and focused, with a rich, concentrated core of blackberry and blueberry fruit, complemented by notes of chocolate and fresh tarragon on the finish. The balance of fruit, acidity and well-integrated tannins make this an ideal drink-now companion to fine cuisine, while aging will only enhance the layers and complexity.

Red Wine by d'Arenberg from McLaren Vale, Australia. The Little Venice Shiraz has a lifted nose; currants, plums and pepper with cedary spice all wrapped up in fresh potter's clay. There are appealing notes of saline fruit, forest floor and truffles that bring complexity. The palate starts with plenty of concentration and weight, then there's a pile of red and dark currants and plums to bring freshness and vibrancy. The tannins are long and mineral laced, finishing with a twist of crushed ants, meatiness and mushrooms that are becoming the hallmarks of this vineyard. While restrained in youth, with bottle age it will open up to reveal more layered and complex secondary characters. With careful cellaring this wine will drink well until at least 2030.

White Wine by Teira from Sonoma County, California. The 2014 Estate Sauvignon Blanc strikes the elusive balance between new world and old world style on the nose and palate. Classic Sancerre-like minerality anchors the aromas, which are a complex array of pineapple, pear and white peach, overlain with herbs and spicy tropical fruits. Light and crisp on the attack, palate adds flavors of spicy grapefruit, tangerine and lemon zest. Balance, elegance and intensity of flavor are the key features of this wine, which finishes with a bright acidity that begs another sip over and over again! Drink now through 2017.

Pinot Grigio has taken the wine world by storm in recent years. Dry, refreshing and oh so easy to drink - no wonder everyone wants it in their glass. But only top notch winemakers manage to produce Pinot Grigio with real character and flair. Step forward Chile's highly acclaimed Luis Felipe Edwards, three times winner of 'Chilean Winery of the Year'. This family estate sources high grown Pinot Grigio from their Maule Valley vineyards for Riversong. And the name? It's from the lyrical sound of the river that flows through the valley which to the local Mapuche people sounds like the song of the Fio Fio bird. With spring blossom aromas and gentle peach and pear notes, this white is lovely solo or paired with a spicy chicken salad or seafood.

Merlot thrives in the vineyards of northwest Sicily, producing a wide range of delicious styles, from rich and deep to light and easy-going. This is in the latter category. It comes from the Colomba Bianca winery and was made under the auspices of our old friend Giorgio Flessati. His CV includes outstanding wines from northern Italy and also many Trophy winners from Viña Falernia in Chile's cutting edge Elqui Valley. Named after the local herdsmen who graze their sheep and goats on the high pastures near the vineyards, Mandriano has gentle plummy fruit and the lightest tannins. A simple yet gorgeously juicy red that's perfect for everyday drinking, especially with barbecued meats, pasta dishes and authentic Italian cheeses like Pecorino.

This is the flagship wine of the leading winery in Argentina, Catena Zapata. Grown at high altitude in the Andean foothills, the grapes are selected from Catena Zapata's two best vineyards, Nicasia and Adrianna. This is a case that warrants a place in any collectors collection. This wine is not eligible for same or next day delivery. Please allow 10 working days for delivery or transfer to your bonded account. About the Producer Catina Zapatat's wines have single handedly raised the profile of Argentine as a hub for wine production. The winery was founded in 1902 by Italian immigrant Nicola Catena, who was one of the first winemakers to introduce European winemaking techniques to Argentina and pioneered Malbec and vine growing in high altitudes. Taste Extremely aromatic, this wine opens with smoky red fruits, blueberries, violets and blossom. The palate reveals mocha, raspberry, cassis, cloves, sweet spices and a hint of iodine minerality. It finishes with an explosion of sweet fruit and succulent tannin. This is by no means a shrinking violet! Awards/Press Awarded 94 by Luis Gutierrez: " The 2010 Catena Zapata Malbec Argentino is a blend of grapes from Adrianna and Nicasia, from the deepest, coolest soils in those vineyards, in Gualtallary and Altamira. They were looking for something that represents the essence of Malbec. The first vintage for this wine was 2004, when they finally found the blend and character they were looking for. The name they wanted to use for the wine was Malbec Puro, but they didn't want any confusion with cigars, so they called it Malbec Argentino instead! It is very aromatic with floral notes, mainly violets and blue fruit, and is nicely defined. It is opulent with sweet tannins but with the hallmark of the freshness found in all the wines from those two vineyards, precise and long. " Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate #212, April 2014 Awarded 93 by Michael Schachner: " Jammy and mineral-smelling at the same time, this Malbec exhibits an ideal set of plum and berry aromas. The palate is full but juicy, fresh and alert. Raspberry, currant, toast and spice flavors finish elegant and long, with no break-up in the wine's totality. Drink through 2022. " Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast, January 2015
