Becoming Betty: Sour Cream Noodle Bake* this is very similar to a recipe my mom makes "beef and cheese casserole." Instead of cottage cheese (because I can't find it anywhere) I used a package of cream cheese, and I also added Parmesan cheese to the mix. Instead of using canned sauce, I make my own (pretty much make everything from scratch nowadays) and I thought it was delicious. But my mom uses canned sauce and tastes just as wonderful. Whatever floats your boat!
